Lovely shower pressure. Decent enough privacy in the female dorms. Capsule bed had more space than I expected and I (5'10) could fit comfortably laying down. We checked in at 6 to get our room and came back at 3am after a night hike. We appreciated them having a backdoor with a code where we could enter after opening hours.

Apparently on a revitalised old house, I love the texture of the remains of torn down partition wall and the nostalgic aura of the hostel. The aura is further up;ifted by other cool and funky decorations which resembles a cool second hand fashionable item store in northern Okinawa - but don't be fooled by the look, the facilities and amenities are up to standard with proper laundry and tumble dry machine. Cyclist-friendly: with commuter bicycle for rent/on loan for guests, and guests who are on cycle touring may a a peace of mind by depositing your bicycle at the lobby area near the Reception Desk for the duration of the stay. Large fringe and fridge at the Common Room area. Prime location: along Hentona Commercial Street (or High Street, for those prefer UK English) with Hentona Post Office, 7-ELEVEN Kunigami Hentona (the northern most 7-ELEVEN outlet in Okinawa Prefercture) and supermarket literally a stone throw away from the hostel

I booked the single room, which still comes with a shared shower and bathroom. The whole hostel was very clean and a rustic industrial theme. This extended into the room, which was pretty bare bones but i made it work for one night and the bed was actually surprisingly comfortable. The shared kitchen and fridge were clean and overall it seemed the staff were doing a fantastic job keeping everything organized.

Wonderful place to explore Yanbaru Forest area! The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable and cozy. The hostel has a communal kitchen to cook or warm up your own food. There is a bar downstairs where you can sometimes meet locals! You can go to the sea to swim, it’s just 7 minutes away or go hiking right from the property. The staff is very helpful and nice. We slept very well!

A hostel with a cool vibe and comfy beds, nothing fancy but provides what it promises—we had a private bathroom, but some rooms don’t. Lots of communal space, a good kitchen and laundry, nice design if you appreciate industrial/contemporary. Best to have a car. Town is very quiet and not terribly pretty, but we had good walks in Asmui Spritual Hikes area at Cape Hedo and on the local beach at Okuma Beach. Ate delicious yakiniku at Lion Okuma, and the local (hidden) izakaya across the road was also great. Public service announcements wake you up in the morning and also echo across town around 5pm, standard for Okinawa.

Amazing hostel !! Staff were friendly and there were loads of people to talk to about what to do in the nearby area. The pool table and table tennis were fun and helpful for meeting new people. The communal kitchen and dining area was also a very social environment, but there are also plenty of spaces to sit alone and keep to yourself if you wish. I would recommend you have a car as there is limited attractions in walking distance but it would be possible to do so, there is also a 7/11 and one or two restaurants in walking distance.

The character and decor was fun and we enjoyed it. We enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables (especially my daughter!). The location was good - close to restaurants, 7 eleven, the beach and the bus. The free bus rides around the north of Kunjami was great! Nema (our host of the hostel) even offered us a ride to the aquarium one day! This was very kind of him.

The place has it's style with some vintage furnitures and greenery as decorations, there's a computer area next to the reception, a piano, pool and ping-pong tables, bikes to rent. It's wide and homely, you just have to enjoy the « as is » aspect of the building. The diner area on the second floor is well provided with ustensils, fridge, microwave, rice cooker, seasonings, etc... And there's a konbini two steps from the hostel. When it comes to the dormitories, they were not busy so I could sleep alone most of the time, and the beds were fine to sleep in. I'll keep a good memory of the stay.

A gorgeous place. I was so impressed - seems that the owner bought a huge old hotel and renewed it. A lot of common space, really clean. Love the design. Many wooden furniture. Staff was very kind and helped me a lot. There is combini nearby, also a great coffeeshop 宮里菓子店 - very cheap cakes and a great coffee! I wish I could explore this area more.
